What tolerance do you hold?
The 6040 is budgeted at ±0.05 mm positioning, which is what the quote assumes. The tolerance you actually get depends on geometry, material and tooling, so it is confirmed against your drawing before production starts — nothing tighter is promised blindly.
Do you machine stainless and steel?
Yes — stainless AISI 304 and steel S235 are on the price list, alongside aluminium 5754/6082 and the engineering plastics POM and HDPE.
What is the 4th axis for?
It rotates the part so several faces, holes and pockets can be machined in one setup — brackets and connectors come out finished without re-fixturing.
Which files work best?
